The rules have changed since we first conducted our email marketing campaigns. That was before spam filters and blacklists and limits to outgoing recipients. Back in the day, we spent hundreds of hours compiling address lists and then sending invitations and notices to a large group of people who actually wanted to receive our information. I doubt we could conduct such a campaign in today’s world without professional assistance and extra expense.

Gas Prices
The price of gas seems to have leveled off for the time being it has dropped back to $3.37 a gallon after being as high as $3.79 a gallon in a couple of locations. I know that this is a short term easing of the crunch I expect it to go to over $4.00 a gallon before the summer is over, and that will be the death blow to a lot of small business in this area including mine.

Buck goes to work
Had to go back to work early this morning to track down a wayward driver. I took Buck with me he held up pretty well for the first hour or so, then he began to fade. By the time we got home he was laid out snorin on my lap. Some tough guy he is.
