The city of Nashville has a fancy dress up ball each summer and we have attended every year since we moved here, and this year we are pulling out all the stops, my wife has selected a Fancy Dress for the ball and I am going black tie.

I do not watch a lot of TV a show or two that has caught my eye, and some sports when I like the teams. This new show on the History Channel is one I really like, Ice Road Truckers is a show I try not to miss on Sunday nights, which starting next week will be a minor problem, Big Brother starts it’s summer season next Sunday at the same time as Ice Road Truckers, I will have to watch Big Brother on Monday on Demand on cable to be able to keep in the loop. Figures both the shows for a whole week that I want to watch will be on at the same time.
Over the weekend the Nashville Predators made a couple of huge trades and help their draft getting the players they wanted or so they say. So we are one step closer to the start of the hockey season and I still do not have tickets for the upcoming season. I have decided not to buy my season tickets and just take in a few games as the season goes. I was really disappointed in the team last year and will not buy a season ticket to support them,
As football season gets closer and closer I can not help but think about my football picks and who I am going to bet on and who is going to win the Super Bowl. I put a bit on several teams to win the Super Bowl each year a couple of favorites and a couple of long shots, I never win but it is fun and I do not bet much just enough to have fun.
