You have got to love a price war when it includes gasoline, the price of gasoline in our neck of the woods has dropped to $3.19 as of today and I think I will take everything that needs gasoline and fill them all up today just to get a little relief from the pounding we have been taking at the gas pumps. We use a lot of gasoline every week in our delivery vehicles and any relief we can get is a plus in my book, I hope the price keeps going down and we get back to where the price of gasoline was a year ago.

GPS Tracking
As an additional safety feature on all of our delivery vehicles we have added GPS tracking devices. These tracking devices update every ten seconds, and we can watch them from any web enabled computer. The extra safety this gives us in these tough times is well worth the money. We can control where our drivers go and how fast they get there.
We bought our system from Live Wire GPS they have a great site with a lot of information and a great selection of GPD devices to fit any budget. They can report if a vehicle has left its area or even if it is speeding. These reports can be sent to your cell phone even, this lets you act on the incident immediately.

Lazy day
What a lazy wonderful day this has been so far. We worked last night got home about 7am and finally got to sleep about 8 and I am just now rolling out of bed, and the day is over half gone already.
I have a lot of plans of things that I need to get done but I have a feeling almost none of them will get done today, maybe tomorrow. Maybe. I am ready for a nap now.

Security system
As the neighborhood around our warehouse changes we have decided to install a video security system to deter theft of gasoline from our vans and to keep an eye on the parking lot itself. Putting in video surveillance cameras was an easy job and I feel a lot safer with everything going onto video tape.
IT Planet had the system we wanted and the price was not higher than we expected. They had a great selection of systems and we were able to purchase the one that fit our needs. Placing the cameras in a visible location I feel has helped us deter crime in our parking lot and the building itself. I am very happy with the surveillance system we purchased and I am thinking of getting one for my home.

Gas Prices
The price of gas has leveled off at around $3.80 a gallon here in Nashville. I know it is higher in other parts of the country and I am glad we are lower priced here.
The high price of gas is costing me, money and drivers. People can not afford to drive to get to work let alone drive in their jobs anymore. I do not know how much longer we will be able to hold out with out getting more money from the newspaper to off set the high price of gas.
