We have had two solid weeks of hot and dry weather, it is starting to cook my grass and I really hate to water the lawn I have only watered it once this year. Last year we had the water going almost 24 hours a day during the drought. My worms need to be watered more than the grass and I have to water my tomato plants almost every other day they dry out fast in the pots like they are. What we need is a good solid day of rain a soft gentle rain would be nice. I guess I better go water my plants and worms and wait for the rain to water the lawn.

School starts next week and I can not wait, no more kids hanging around all day doing nothing and I will have my couch back to use as I see fit. Since I work nights the couch is where a lot of my day light hours are spent. The couch has been occupied with kids since the start of June and I am ready to reclaim my couch. I can start to work in my daily morning nap as well as my traditional afternoon nap which I have been missing for months now. Thank goodness for school.

This last weekend was a lost cause, no matter what I did it failed. I was unable to get any thing done. I should of just stayed in bed. Some times you should just give up and drink and I think this last weekend was one of those times. Then again I had nothing to drink and did not feel like going out to get anything so that was a wash too. Today has started much better but it is early in the week, I will take it day by day and see if things get better.

Our yard has been filled with an abundance of wildlife this last few weeks, among the critters annoying our dogs have been rabbits, skunks and a bevy of squirrels, the dogs hate to see critters in the yard and bark and whine like fools when they are out there. We have had deer and foxes in the past, with the lake less than a mile away we get a bit more wildlife than most of the rest of the city.
